Air

• Galway Airport: A small, regional airport just 8km from Galway City. Aer Arann are the airport's largest operators, with a number of scheduled services to Dublin, the United Kingdom and Northern France. • Knock International Airport: Located within 90 minutes drive from Galway, Knock International Airport is an alternative entrance point for visitors to the 'City of the tribes'. Ryanair operate scheduled services to destinations in the United Kingdom and Spain, while both BMI Baby and Aer Lingus serve destinations in the U.K.

• Shannon International Airport: Located just over an hour from Galway, Shannon International Airport is a convenient entrance point for visitors into the Mid-West region of Ireland. With a range of scheduled services to the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and the United States, you can access Galway City from the world over. Airlines serving the airport include Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Aer Arann, Continental Airlines, and Air Transat.
